It’s finally that time of year! Time for delicious scents to fill the air as everyone around you grills up burgers and hot dogs. Time for fireworks to light the night sky. It’s July, time for freedom to ring.
For a lot of us, this is also a very busy time. Between picnics and BBQs, baseball games and camping – it can get hectic. What better time to introduce a new planning system to your life?
I started using the bullet journal system about a year ago. Since then, I’ve tried just about every way I can think of to make this system fit my life. I finally decided that, for the time being, doing my spreads in Microsoft Excel worked best for me.
I LOVE using Excel for these spreads. It’s so much easier, clearer, and cleaner. I can use any color or color combination I want. I can access it anywhere and use it super easily. If you’re willing to learn something new, I highly recommend giving it a shot.

So here’s a simple solution to make July your most organized and productive month yet. I introduce to you the actual spreadsheet I’m using this month.
I personally use these spreadsheets directly in the program, so when I make them, I don’t take print into account. This means my sections can fit perfectly in the screen. The picture above and the one below both fit seamlessly and perfectly in the screen so I can see the whole month at a glance.
This method works great for me and I love being able to introduce and help others get set up using it. That’s why I opened my Etsy shop in December.
